West Sussex is a popular destination for overseas tourists and those escaping from London for a weekend break in the country. It is therefore advisable to make any room reservations as soon as possible after making your decision to visit the area.

The hotel guarantees your bedroom will be ready by 3.00pm and asks that you please help to honour this undertaking for subsequent guests by observing the check out time of 11.00am on the morning of departure.

Rates quoted are per room, per night, based on two people sharing. They are inclusive of accommodation, full English breakfast and VAT at the current rate. Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate includes a full choice from our seasonal a la carte menu. These rates are not applicable for Easter, Christmas or New Year.

All reservations must be guaranteed by a credit card and require a non-refundable deposit of 50% to secure the booking. Any cancellation should be by telephone to the Duty Manager by 2pm, 14 days prior to arrival else the full charge of the stay is due. This should also be followed up in writing. If cancellation is within 21 days of arrival and we are unable to resell the room, full payment will be taken from the card on file. We respectfully remind guests that a reservation constitutes a contract between themselves and Amberley Castle.
Points to note

Accommodation is available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival. If guests arrive before this time, they are welcome to relax in the lounges until their room is available. Guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 11.00am but may use the hotel facilities subject to availability. The portcullis gate is closed at midnight. Only in special circumstances and by prior arrangement do we accept arrivals after this time.

The hotel has a number of ground floor rooms in the Tower House Mews, but none are specifically adapted for disabled guests. Please advise on booking of any disability so we can ensure a comfortable stay.

We welcome children over the age of 10. Regretfully, pets are not allowed in the Castle or grounds.

Amberley Castle has a dress code of smart/casual in the lounges. In the restaurant we ask for no sportswear please. We draw your attention to the fact that Amberley Castle is a non-smoking hotel. Guests are requested not to use mobile phones in the restaurants.
